My t-shirt is made of organic materials and it’s really soft and comfortable. Super cool brand!

What the brand can prove
!

While Iron Roots designs products to last, it is possible for them to be worn out after some years. After this period, customers can send back their products in return for a discount code. Right now, recycling minimums are high, so when they grow as a company they want to start to completely recycle their sportswear

Iron roots does not work with seasonal collections and only introduces a few new pieces per year. By doing this, they want to avoid overproduction and overconsumption

Iron Roots creates timeless pieces that are not based on trends, but rather on minimalistic design and high-quality materials. They want people to use their sportswear for years, without losing style

Iron Roots packaging is also completely plastic-free. They ship their products in paper, FSC certified poly-bags, which are put inside of (recycled) FSC certified cardboard packaging

Iron Root's main goal is to provide people with an alternative to plastic sportswear. Even if brands use recycled plastic, the products can still release harmful microplastics. By not using any (not even recycled) plastics, they try to solve this problem

Iron roots have partnered up with The Green Branch to compensate for the emissions caused by their production chain. They have calculated the shipping impact of their supply chain and offset the CO2 emissions through a reforestation project in South America

They only work with European factories, which they visit regularly. They are SMETA, GOTS and ISO certified. Iron Roots makes sure that no bad practices happen in their supply chain

Iron Roots only works with European factories. Currently, they produce most of their products in Greece and small batches in Portugal. Besides this, they also source their raw materials, yarns, and fabrics within Europe, which minimizes the shipping impact of their supply chain and also provides local, European communities with jobs

Iron Roots does not and will not use any animal-derived materials. They see the transition from synthetic materials to natural materials as an opportunity to grow and use more plants and trees, but not more animals
