Curating vintage and pre-loved collections created by two young women in Amsterdam. The idea behind it is to provide a selection of modern curated clothing while keeping responsibility in mind. Born from a "serendipity" moment, it is now rebranded "Ensō", referring to the Zen-circle which symbolizes creativity, enlightenment, and elegance

The brand hand-picks vintage pieces among thousands (yes, 1000+) garments: only a few will get the "wohoo!" feeling and come back home with the founders. 
Every item will then be carefully reviewed, cleaned, and repaired if needed

Liseth started Serendipity from a desire to wear modern curated clothing without harming people or the planet. After traveling around the world, the urge for a drastic change was stronger than ever.
Andrea, who has inherited her passion for vintage from her grandma and upcycling her mother's wardrobe, was eager to spread that "feeling of uniqueness" in a fresh way.
To make vintage accessible to everybody while building a better lifestyle was just the perfect serendipity moment that ended up in the birth of Ensō

That’s why the brand has let go of the seasonal collections and now focuses on timeless essentials. Furthermore, they’ve decided to stop practicing sale. They believe the products’ value doesn’t change over time and that the products should always have a fair price for the consumer, the retailers and the people who make their clothes

The packaging that Kuyichi's uses for webshop orders is made of 60% recycled - film - plastic produced by Raja Pack. They include a card with information about eco friendly wash & care to encourage to take care of your clothes and make them last.  They’ve also restricted the use of polybags on their samples. They are now sent without polybag, with a (cutting waste) fabric string around it, like a present

From the beginning of 2020 Kuyichi has become a Fair Wear Member. Their suppliers need to sign both their own Responsible Business Conduct as well as the Fair Wear Code of Labour Practices

Kuyichi works with a lot with different certificates to manage their environmental impact. For their trims OEKO-TEX 100 is their go-to certificate to check for chemical restrictions and they use GRS (Global Recycling Standard) to validate the recycled content in their fabrics. On top of that the ISO family are facility certificates, build on credibility of management systems. They have ISO 9001 for a quality management system, ISO 14001 for an environmental management system and ISO 50001 for an energy management system. They also work with suppliers that are ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) registered
