To me, Zara is one of the most important "greenwasher". The pretend to be sustainable through their line "Life", but how can a brand be sustainable when they produce new designs and collection every week ? We need to stop this machine !!
I used to be the first to buy a LOT from Zara! All items I just wore once because of style but also quality (had to throw away 2 pair of heels after wearing them 2-3 times respectively as they were completely consumed). I’d rather be naked than buy fast fashion now.
Organic collections are not entirely organic, same with recycling. They pretend to be sustainable but they are only producing more and more collections every time. Clothes are also very low quality and we don't know anything about the conditions of workers from suppliers... the list could go on and on...
Better than HM but still…
Although the quality is better than other competitors, it’s still a fast fashion brands and most of their items don’t last long… I think they have a lot to do in terms of sustainability practices and transparency
