Whispr collaborates with several non-profit organizations to create training/workshops for disadvantaged women; the main objective of the project coincides with Goal 5 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, 'Achieve gender equality and self-determination for all women and girls.

The company behind Whispr is 100% founded and owned by its female founder, and it is also run entirely by women. To be noted also that the whole message behind every Whispr product is strictly tied to women's empowerment, as can be perceived from the words and writing on their jumpers

Whispr collaborates with a social cooperative called Manusa, which means "humanity" in Sanskrit, and has the purpose of revitalizing textile crafts with social and ethical values, employing women from different backgrounds. Whispr's embroidered clothing is made by these women, as they care to support the community as well as the Italian textile craftsmanship

Whispr's production is almost exclusively carried out by craftsmen who favor high-quality materials and excellent workmanship. One of the old techniques they care to support and use for their clothing is handmade embroidery, carefully mastered by Manusa women

Whispr's founding belief is that conceiving a meaningful collection requires a certain amount of time and dedication, therefore they choose not to follow the fast pace of fashion but rather to be a slow fashion brand
