Their brand doesn't believe in sales, discounts, black Friday: they want to sell their products because people really need them and not just because of compulsive consumption

Each of Rifò's garments are made from a tradition of Made in Italy craftsmanship, which has always been synonymous with high quality

Rifò products are packaged and shipped by default through recycled cardboard packaging and plastic free materials, 100% recyclable and made in Italy. Alternatively, they offer their customers the option to choose Repack, a reusable packaging service that reduces the impact of traditional packaging by 20 times

The materials Rifò uses are innovative because they are the result of an industrial tradition and energy savings. Not only do they recycle old garments in production, but they reduce the consumption of water, pesticides and chemicals; normally used during the production. They also ban the use of harmful substances indicated by the REC

Rifò wants to do its part creating ethical garments, made by recycling fibers that are also as natural as possible. On average, in their one-year production they use 92% of fibers from recycled materials and only 8% of virgin fibers. They also try to go towards zero waste production, minimizing the leftovers using them for new collections and limited editions

Depending on which item, Rifò uses the made to order way of producing in order to avoid waste. This means that they will start producing your item only once you have ordered it.

The recycled cashmere bow tie Niccolò, in piqué stitch, is made with a circular machine. The accessory comes out of the machine finished and does not need to be cut or sewn. The bow tie Niccolò is adjustable and has a metal closure.
DIMENSIONS: from 38 to 46 cm neck circumference
COMPOSITION: 95% recycled cashmere, 5% recycled wool.
WASHING CARE: We suggest to wash the recycled cashmere garments by hand, to better maintain the cashmere's quality. Once they are washed, do a light centrifuge to drain the water, then dry them naturally by lying them on a horizontal surface. You can also put it in the washer at a maximum of 30° on a gentle cycle.

Recycled cashmere is made from discarded  cashmere material. Cashmere is a natural protein fiber that comes from the Cashmere goat. 

Recycled cashmere is made from either post-industrial or post-consumer cashmere. Post-industrial waste comes from waste that is leftover from manufacturing industries. Post consumer waste is material discarded after someone uses it. Both take no additional resources or energy to create, because they already exist! This gives waste a new purpose, keeping material in the loop for longer, and contributing to circular fashion. The process starts with painstakingly sorting through discarded cashmere fibers, then shredding the fibers, and re-spinning them to become a wonderfully soft sweater or other wardrobe favourites!

Recycled Cashmere is also very durable and resilient, meaning it can last ages in your closet, unless the moths get to it! It is also incredibly warm and cozy, as it is 8x warmer than sheep wool and notoriously soft. 

Recycled cashmere can be recycled again and again, creating a new Recycled cashmere clothing. It is also a bio-based material, making it biodegradable, so it can fully decompose when it has grown too old to be recycled again.

This product contains recycled cashmere that has been sorted, shredded, and re-spun. Recycled cashmere allows you to get cozy at a wildly lower cost to the environment.

Recycled wool is created from existing wool and has been used in European textiles for hundreds of years. 
It is made from both pre-consumer sources, such as factory scraps, and post-consumer ones, such as returned garments. 

Recycled wool process starts out by collecting discarded wool, and it is then sorted by color. The fibers are then mechanically shredded to be respun into new yarn, making you new clothing!

Recycled wool’s sustainable production requires low resources and energy to produce and contributes to low CO2 emissions. 

Recycled wool is of similar quality as virgin wool, and exhibits the same properties. The material is insulating, breathable, and wrinkle-resistant, perfect for keeping you warm and cozy on cold winter days.

This product contains recycled wool made with no use of new materials and regenerating existing wool that would otherwise go to waste. 

You can return the item purchased for free within 60 days of receiving it. You could either receive a refund or exchange the item for another one. The return/exchange shipping costs are paid by Rifò for countries belonging to the European Union. For the remaining countries, the return costs are charged to the customer.
