Among the sustainability pillars, Kings of Indigo is committed to transport and waste management. In 2018, they produced clothing in 33 production locations in 10 countries. 75,5% of production takes place in Tunisia. From Tunisia, garments go to the warehouse in the Netherlands by truck which is more environmentally friendly than plane. The brand currently has a policy whereby suppliers are not allowed to send anything to the warehouse without the approval to minimize emissions

The packaging that Kuyichi's uses for webshop orders is made of 60% recycled - film - plastic produced by Raja Pack. They include a card with information about eco friendly wash & care to encourage to take care of your clothes and make them last.  They’ve also restricted the use of polybags on their samples. They are now sent without polybag, with a (cutting waste) fabric string around it, like a present

From the beginning of 2020 Kuyichi has become a Fair Wear Member. Their suppliers need to sign both their own Responsible Business Conduct as well as the Fair Wear Code of Labour Practices

Kuyichi works with a lot with different certificates to manage their environmental impact. For their trims OEKO-TEX 100 is their go-to certificate to check for chemical restrictions and they use GRS (Global Recycling Standard) to validate the recycled content in their fabrics. On top of that the ISO family are facility certificates, build on credibility of management systems. They have ISO 9001 for a quality management system, ISO 14001 for an environmental management system and ISO 50001 for an energy management system. They also work with suppliers that are ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) registered

Very nice jeans from Kuyichi, model Lisa with straight legs in dark blue wash. 98% cotton and 2% elastane. Size W27 / L32. and falls like an XS / S. Waist measures 37 cm. Hip width is 48 cm. These jeans have never been worn, absolutely new condition!

Lovely jeans from Kuyichi in a beautiful mid-blue wash. Model is Lisa-Low Lean Slim. So falls low on the hips. Made from organic cotton, there is some stretch in it, but not much. Size label is cut out but it falls like a 36. Waistband measures 41 cm. Outer leg length is 98 cm. Inside leg length is 81 cm. Jeans is worn occasionally and in very nice condition!

Very fine and soft light blue skinny from Kings of Indigo. It says size 29/32 but the legs are slightly longer than my other pants size 32 length. I have worn the pants very little.
