Filippa K publishes their Fair Wear Foundation performance checks on their website, which examines how company management systems support FWF’s Code of Labour Practices. They evaluate the parts of company supply chains where clothing is assembled. This is the most labour intensive part of garment supply chains, and where brands can have the most influence over working conditions. By being part of FairWearFoundation they are committed to safe and healthy working conditions

Designing for longevity is key for the brand. When Ivy and Oak starts designing a new piece, it keeps its entire life cycle in mind, starting with the raw material up to the moment you hold it in your hands

The brand cares about fair working conditions and wages, workplace safety and transparency. They require partners to sign the corporate Code of Conduct, which defines social and environmental standards, such as the ILO core conventions, including minimum wages, overtimes or prevailing standards that ensure workers cover their basic needs with discretionary income. 
All new factories undergo assessments of their social and environmental practices prior to onboarding to ensure they fulfil Ivy and Oak's criteria. Once the brand works with a factory, they do regularly visit to build trusted relationships. They do audits, questionnaires and risk assessments and monitor suppliers’ performance to identify areas for improvements, set targets and collaborate to achieve common goals.
