Essentials for Zula garments are made in their own small, family-run factory in Thailand. They recognise the importance of keeping a close eye on the integrity of our supply chain - that's why they proudly make their garments in their own family-factory and in accordance to internationally recognised standards of International Labour Organisation (ILO) through the UN. This allows them to be 100% honest and take 100% responsibility for the welfare of our seamstresses. For their COSY socks, they work with a neighbouring factory in Bangkok, Thailand. Linen is a strong, lightweight fabric made from the flax plant. It is one of the most historical fibers, and has been used as a clothing textile since 8000BC. 

Linen is a sustainable fabric because of its low requirements of water, resources, and energy to create. There is also little to no pesticides used on linen farms. 

Linen is notorious for durability and versatility. Linen can withstand high temperatures—making the fabric generally perfect for raiding the jungle or lounging on a tropical island. It absorbs moisture without holding bacteria. In fact, it is actually stronger when wet than dry and becomes softer and more pliable the more it is washed. It just gets better and better the longer you have it in your closet! 

Linen is a bio-based material, making it biodegradable, fully composting after it has retired from use.

Linen is one of the most historical fibers, known for its durability and versatility. Made from flax plant fibres, it is a sustainable fabric due to the low requirements of resources like water and little to no pesticides compared to cotton.

Recycled polyester also known as rPET, is created by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fiber. This fabric can be made from either post-industrial or post-consumer materials. For example, 5 water bottles yield enough fiber for one extra large T-shirt. This material repurposes existing plastic that would otherwise end up in the landfill or the ocean. 

Recycled polyester’s sustainable production requires low resources and energy to produce, and contributes low CO2 emissions. It also reduces the need to extract crude oil and natural gas from the ground to make more plastic, which is much better for the Earth.

Recycled polyester has not much difference from virgin polyester. It exhibits high strength, durability, versatility, and performance, lasting long in your closet, and surviving expected wear and tear easily.

Garments from recycled polyester aim to be continuously recycled without degradation of quality, allowing for circularity.

A synthetic material. However, instead of utilizing new materials to craft the fabric (i.e. petroleum), recycled polyester makes use of existing plastic.

Purchases must be returned within 14 days from receipt of the delivery. Only returns of unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise will be accepted. Please exercise caution when trying on the garments, especially the swimwear bottoms.
