Colorful Standard has its own manufacturing center in Portugal for their production. Their manufacturing center, RTG textiles, was created by Colorful Standard’s founder, with fairness and transparency as the key goals. They decided to skip out on partnering with factories, in order to ensure ethics in the supply chain. As a European based company, it is also important for them to keep production within the EU, which abides them to European laws, and gives their European customers an opportunity to visit their facilities and overlook the production process

Colorful Standard's believes in the power of recycling to reduce waste, so all of their labels and packaging are made from recycled plastics, papers, and polyesters. They also hold an FSC certification for all of their hangtags, ensuring that all forest materials have been acquired from approved sources and not at the expense of any forest, person, or animal

To lower the negative effects of overconsumption, Colorful Standard creates timeless essentials that withstand the test of time. Their garments are made from high-quality materials and are carefully crafted to make their way past one or two seasons. This way, you won't need to purchase the same t-shirt or sweater over and over again

All of Colorful Standard's products are produced at their own manufacturing center in Portugal. They also work with local suppliers to ensure the highest possible level of quality

Colorful Standard donates part of their yearly proceeds to maintaining FC Masi Manimba, an all-purpose activity center located in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to help children faced with one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world. Colorful standard has purchased an open field and built a football field from scratch for the children, with the help of generous donations and the local community. They continue to update and improve the activity center regularly. FC Masi Manimba is free of charge for the children, the only requirement to become a club member is to simply sign up. Today, around 400 children and young adults between the ages of 6-25 play every single day

Bio acetate is a responsible alternative for frames on your (sun)glasses. Their compound is produced from cotton and wood-pulp fibers, making bio acetate 100% biodegradable and recyclable to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Most sunglasses are made from acetate due to its durability, flexibility and high quality; a natural material but with added oil-based plasticisers. With bio-acetate instead, those plasticisers are entirely biodegradable meaning the material is 100% plant-based with no extra nasties. 
This makes the frames also vegan and cruelty-free.
