The packaging that Kuyichi's uses for webshop orders is made of 60% recycled - film - plastic produced by Raja Pack. They are now sent without polybag, with a (cutting waste) fabric string around it, like a present

From the beginning of 2020 Kuyichi has become a Fair Wear Member. Their suppliers need to sign both their own Responsible Business Conduct as well as the Fair Wear Code of Labour Practices

Kuyichi works with a lot with different certificates to manage their environmental impact. For their trims OEKO-TEX 100 is their go-to certificate to check for chemical restrictions and they use GRS (Global Recycling Standard) to validate the recycled content in their fabrics. Curating vintage and pre-loved collections created by two young women in Amsterdam. The idea behind it is to provide a selection of modern curated clothing while keeping responsibility in mind. Born from a "serendipity" moment, it is now rebranded "Ensō", referring to the Zen-circle which symbolizes creativity, enlightenment, and elegance

The brand hand-picks vintage pieces among thousands (yes, 1000+) garments: only a few will get the "wohoo!" feeling and come back home with the founders. 
Every item will then be carefully reviewed, cleaned, and repaired if needed

Liseth started Serendipity from a desire to wear modern curated clothing without harming people or the planet. After traveling around the world, the urge for a drastic change was stronger than ever.

A portion of Ensō's selection undergoes some kind of upcycling process before becoming a "new" unique piece of clothing

Renting is a great sustainable option because it allows you to enjoy items for special occasions without feeling the guilt of having an unused garment sit in your closet for years after an event. 

Through renting, you can just use the item until you are sick of it and then pass it on to another person. A huge problem arising from fast fashion culture is that the number of times an article of clothing is worn is decreasing, but renting items means they are used for longer and from multiple different people, extending their lifetime. By participating in the sharing economy, less clothing is wasted and being discarded, diverting pollution and making the earth happier.

Renting fashion items you’d only wear a few times is a more sustainable answer especially for special occasions. You can participate to the sharing economy in which more people rotating clothing means less fashion being wasted. You can avoid having clothes sitting around unworn in your wardrobe or being thrown away after just a few uses.

For every day returned late - because of your fault - they ask for a 50 euros late return fee. They do this to make sure that everyone gets their rental in time.

Shipping only to The Netherlands yet and the shipping costs are included in the price. They offer next-day delivery if ordered before 1 pm. However, they advise you to have your rental arrive two days before the event to properly fit, etc.
