This original vintage Pierre Balmain velvet coat is a luxury masterpiece. It's quilted and therefore a great spring piece. The quality is just stunning, and can't be conveyed in the photos. Curating vintage and pre-loved collections created by two young women in Amsterdam. The idea behind it is to provide a selection of modern curated clothing while keeping responsibility in mind. Born from a "serendipity" moment, it is now rebranded "Ensō", referring to the Zen-circle which symbolizes creativity, enlightenment, and elegance

The brand hand-picks vintage pieces among thousands (yes, 1000+) garments: only a few will get the "wohoo!" feeling and come back home with the founders. 
Every item will then be carefully reviewed, cleaned, and repaired if needed

Liseth started Serendipity from a desire to wear modern curated clothing without harming people or the planet. After traveling around the world, the urge for a drastic change was stronger than ever.
Andrea, who has inherited her passion for vintage from her grandma and upcycling her mother's wardrobe, was eager to spread that "feeling of uniqueness" in a fresh way.

Liseth and Andrea started Ensō from a desire to wear modern curated women by giving clothing a new life. Both coming from a fashion industry background, they decided to stay involved while feeling proud of the products they bring to other women, joining forces with others to pursue the same goal

A portion of Ensō's selection undergoes some kind of upcycling process before becoming a "new" unique piece of clothing

Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality and environmental value. 

Upcycling artists are inspired by the textile waste they see, which is almost an unlimited resource at this point. They create with the intention to use what is already here. This process is important in the circular fashion movement, because it makes use of discarded textiles, giving these materials second lives. 

Because discarded textiles are not typically sheets of fabric, but rather articles of discarded clothing, a lot of creativity is required to transform materials into new fashionable pieces. This challenge is exciting for upcycling artists, as they are driven and inspired to create with what is in front of them and often don’t have much to lose in the process, since discarded materials are readily available and cheap. Because of this, upcycled clothing is often unique as each piece has been thoughtfully crafted into a new garment.

This product is made by creatively upcycling materials that would otherwise go to waste. This makes better use of resources like deadstock fabrics: leftovers from big production that are saved by re-using them.

Option 1- You can return purchased items within 7 days from the delivery day. All products have to be returned into their original conditions, with all the labels still on. To exchange an item you purchased online, Return the item for free and make a new order online.
Option 2- Possibility to effectuate an exchange of the item previously worn (original or with few used signs) within 20 months, to receive a 50% discount and contribute to saving the environment surrounding us. The items will then be used to make new collections, to stick to their recycling and reusing cycle. It is fundamental to encourage a more acknowledged consumption and to reduce the impact of fashion affecting our planet.

STR UCK hires GLS to effectuate shipping. Usually, the standard delivery time in Italy is within 24/48 hours (mon-fri) and of 3-4 working days within the EU, after STR UCK has accepted your order.
