Agogic's clothing line is made of upcycled plastic gathered from marine litter, industrial waste and leftover stock. Their clothes literally clean the ocean. For every 10 trench coats they sell, the oceans are cleaned of 1.5 kgs of plastic

Salome Wilson, founder of Agogic was a designer for the biggest outdoor brand in the world. When she started bike commuting, she soon realized how cumbersome it was for a woman to be both stylish and dynamic. "I had to pick either to be sweaty all day or soaking wet. There has to be a solution, I told myself. I decided to find it. That is why she founded Agogic"

Agogic believes in useful, minimal, and no waste packaging which is why they do not use plastic for their bags. They instead employ reusable and returnable plastic bags by Repack for all their items. Once their customer has opened their package, they can simply fold and drop the empty bag to a postbox. Repack checks it, cleans it, and sends it back to Agogic for reuse. Each garment is secured with its own recycled polyester mini rope, presented with a user guide in its own envelope, all printed on recycled paper

Agogic doesn't churn out clothes, on the contrary: they take it slow to make them as good as they can possibly get. They want their clothes to last forever. All their fabrics are tested to pass the Martindale Abrasion Test for high durability. They strictly follow the Waste & Resource Action Programme’s (WRAP) Clothing Longevity Protocol. Agogic's garments are manufactured in a third-party production plant in Italy, located in Via Trieste 9 in Martinengo, province of Bergamo. The company name is La Rocca. Founded in 1959, La Rocca is compliant with Italian law and routinely audited. On top of this, Agogic regularly visits their factory to make sure that each and every worker is treated and paid fairly

Recycled polyester also known as rPET, is created by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fiber. This fabric can be made from either post-industrial or post-consumer materials. For example, 5 water bottles yield enough fiber for one extra large T-shirt. This material repurposes existing plastic that would otherwise end up in the landfill or the ocean. 

Recycled polyester’s sustainable production requires low resources and energy to produce, and contributes low CO2 emissions. It also reduces the need to extract crude oil and natural gas from the ground to make more plastic, which is much better for the Earth.

Recycled polyester has not much difference from virgin polyester. It exhibits high strength, durability, versatility, and performance, lasting long in your closet, and surviving expected wear and tear easily.

Garments from recycled polyester aim to be continuously recycled without degradation of quality, allowing for circularity.

A synthetic material. However, instead of utilizing new materials to craft the fabric (i.e. petroleum), recycled polyester makes use of existing plastic.

In addition to the legal right of withdrawal, Agogic gladly accepts the return of unwashed and unworn garments with the original labels. With the original receipt it is possible to obtain a full refund, with the same initial payment method, within 30 days following the date of shipment of the order. The period begins on the day the product is shipped. Any shipping costs relating to the initial order are final and will not be refunded.
