ECONYL® is a nylon yarn made from regenerated fishing nets, fabric scraps and industrial plastic.

Q-NOVA® is a conventional petroleum-based synthetic fiber made from regenerated nylon 6.6. 

Q-NOVA® uses post-industrial nylon in its production,  leftover from factories. This material is saved from being disposed of as external waste. Additionally, its production contributes lower carbon emissions and uses less water because of its recycled content. The process does not involve using chemical materials which would detract from the sustainability of the end product. Q-NOVA® is certified by the The Global Recycled Standard (GRS), so you can be confident that their recycling practices are genuine and sustainable. 

Q-NOVA® is a lightweight fabric with the same qualities as fabrics made from Cotton or Polyester. It also has excellent moisture control meaning that the skin stays fresh and dry. It can be dyed a variety of bright colors, adding a pop to your closet.

The process starts with painstakingly sorting through discarded cashmere fibers, then shredding the fibers, and re-spinning them to become a wonderfully soft sweater or other wardrobe favourites!

Recycled polyester also known as rPET, is created by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fiber. This fabric can be made from either post-industrial or post-consumer materials. For example, 5 water bottles yield enough fiber for one extra large T-shirt. This material repurposes existing plastic that would otherwise end up in the landfill or the ocean. 

Recycled polyester’s sustainable production requires low resources and energy to produce, and contributes low CO2 emissions. It also reduces the need to extract crude oil and natural gas from the ground to make more plastic, which is much better for the Earth.

Recycled polyester has not much difference from virgin polyester. It exhibits high strength, durability, versatility, and performance, lasting long in your closet, and surviving expected wear and tear easily.

Garments from recycled polyester aim to be continuously recycled without degradation of quality, allowing for circularity.

A synthetic material. However, instead of utilizing new materials to craft the fabric (i.e. petroleum), recycled polyester makes use of existing plastic.

Recycled wool is created from existing wool and has been used in European textiles for hundreds of years. 
It is made from both pre-consumer sources, such as factory scraps, and post-consumer ones, such as returned garments. 

Recycled wool process starts out by collecting discarded wool, and it is then sorted by color. The fibers are then mechanically shredded to be respun into new yarn, making you new clothing!

Recycled wool’s sustainable production requires low resources and energy to produce and contributes to low CO2 emissions. 

Recycled wool is of similar quality as virgin wool, and exhibits the same properties. The material is insulating, breathable, and wrinkle-resistant, perfect for keeping you warm and cozy on cold winter days.

This product contains recycled wool made with no use of new materials and regenerating existing wool that would otherwise go to waste. 

Repreve® is a sustainable fiber made of recycled plastic bottles. 

Repreve® has recycled over 20 billion plastic bottles so far, diverting plastic pollution from the ocean and landfill. Repreve® also has U TRUST® verification to certify its recycled content claims.

Repreve® offsets new petroleum usage, emitting fewer greenhouse gases and conserving water and energy in the process. This helps keep our Earth healthy.

This product contains Repreve® made from recycled materials including used plastic bottles. It is an eco-performance fiber with U TRUST® verification to certify recycled content claims.

SEAQUAL® YARN is made for 90% with high quality polyester material that is coming 100% from waste of products that have been used before by others. For the rest 10% it is made of marine plastic recovered from our oceans, beaches and rivers. This is thanks to the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, which is a unique collaborative community fighting plastic pollution. 

SEAQUAL® YARN has basically the same qualities as any other similar virgin material, but its recycled content reduces water consumption by 34%, energy by 40%, and carbon emissions by 37% during the production process. So, it's like what you have been used until now, with the addition of contributing to saving the oceans and recycling waste. The material is certified in its composition with what is called GRS certification and also is made in a safe way (OEKO-Tex standard). 

The material is fully recyclable at the end of its life.

We aRe SpinDye® creates sustainable polyester yarns and fabrics. They work exclusively with recycled polyester made from post-consumer water bottles, or wasted clothing. This gives discarded materials a second life, contributing to circular fashion. 

We aRe SpinDye® uses a coloring process that melts color pigments and the recycled polyester masses together to create homogeneously colored yarns without the use of water. It is this exact step which enables them to reduce the use of water in their entire textile production chain, by 75%, and their chemical usage by 90%. Using less water and chemicals, betters the earth and people who make and wear the clothing.

The We aRe SpinDye® is certified based on LCA’s (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology with the ISO Standard 14040-series. This means their water usage, CO2 footprint, chemical usage, cumulative energy demand are certified low.
