The R Collective is partnered with Splendid to produce their garments- a social enterprise with a small garment factory in Hong Kong. This factory includes tailors with years' of garment making experience. As a traditionally run garment factory led by women, it has the charm and expertise of an atelier with an emphasis on craftsmanship. The Splendid team promotes the usage of traditional techniques creating paper patterns and mock ups by hand

The R Collective donates 25% of their profits to Redress, an environmental NGO working to reduce waste in the fashion industry. They educate and nurture emerging fashion designers, inspire and inform fashion consumers, catalyze and help make change in the fashion industry, and have a take back clothing collection

TAL, The R Collective's main Thailand based supplier, goes above and beyond local laws and external codes to create a proactive culture of accountability and responsibility.They abide by their ethical business practices policy, each of which adhere to their fair fashion principles providing a fair living wage in the safe working environment. Workers are given competitive wages and benefits and nurtured with training and opportunity for growth they ensure healthy and safe environment. The brand is also partnered with Splendid to produce some of their garmets. Splendid is a social enterprise with a small garment factory in Hong Kong that is run by charity, Lok Kwan Social Service. It is women-led and promotes diverse local employment for people in the community who have employment and living needs, including new arrivals and young people who have just left school

The R Collective is in partnership with Hydroplast and they use their environmentally friendly, water-soluble packaging to ensure their garments reach you safely- while keeping the earth safe, too. Their bags are safe for humans, animals and the environment and are EN13432 certified, meaning the product is biodegradable according to European standards. That means you can dispose of them in the compost, general recycling, or simply in the trash. Best of all, you can even dispose of their bags instantly just by placing them in hot water!

Every The R Collective piece is created to eliminate waste. They use top quality rescued fabrics has been tested and verified under SGS’s newly-launched ‘Upcycling Verification Program’ in all of their pieces. So far they have Rescued 82,000 yards of fabric. This radically minimises the brands impact on climate change, water pollution and land use, whilst contributing to circular fashion

The R Collective has a made on demand collection that includes limited pieces for every roll of fabric they rescued. You simply select a style, give them your measurements, and they'll craft a piece made perfectly for you. This avoids overproduction and waste production
