Lacausa continuously works on new initiatives with their donation program, that focuses on human and environmental rights. Each quarter, they donate a percentage of their sale revenue to a different cause. In the spring of 2021, they partnered with a community organization here in Los Angeles called Color Compton, an organization geared towards working with the youth to build community relationships among people of color while exploring identity and creating art. In the winter of 2021, they partnered with the Garment Worker Center in Los Angeles and donated to the GWC COVID-19 Relief Fund for LA Garment Workers to help them in their mission to build power from the bottom up for social and economic justice in our local apparel industry. Other organizations they have donated to in the past include BlackLivesMatter, Baby2Baby, United Farm Workers, LunchOnMe, and others. They plan to continue to donate a percent of their sales to new organizations each quarter
Lacausa uses garment bags and mailers made entirely of recycled materials, reusable for returns and able to be recycled again when discarded. Additionally, their hangtags are created using certified recycled paper and cardboard
