Jina Studio's collection is designed and reworked by hand in Paris, with the help of their wonderful seamstresses. They aim to create a local business that supports Parisian craftswomen/men
Founded in Paris by Shanti Ravdjee, Jina Studio is a one person business that has the ambition to grow at a slow and sustainable pace
Jina Studio is trans-seasonal and focuses on creating wardrobe essentials with a certain sense of poetry. While it is important for them to create pieces that resonate with the times we are living in, they want to make sure their designs keep a sense of longevity. By avoiding trends, they hope that their pieces will be cherished for a long time. This is why they are always looking at the past for inspiration and try to infuse a contemporary vision in the creation process
All of their designs are reworked or sold as authentic vintage, which are all unique vintage pieces, carefully sourced in France. They see the potential in every piece that they thrift and love to redesign them based on existing constraints. The idea behind their project was to offer one-of-a-kind pieces, that have their own history while minimizing the impact of production on our planet
