Guru has 2 factories. One is in Portugal, south of Porto, where family-run factories have kept skills and know-hows alive. The second one is in Spain, in the hinterland of Alicante, at the heart of the region where stylish shoes were historically made. Their shoes are carefully crafted, as each pair passes through the hands of dozens of skilled technicians and workers

Guru believes animals are not made to be shoes or fashion accessories, especially since more ecological alternatives exist…That is why all of their products are vegan and they instead use innovative leather alternatives such as Piñatex for their shoes

All Guru's packaging is chosen with the environment in mind. Their cardboard is 70% recycled and 100% recyclable, their wrapping paper is 100% recycled and 100% recyclable, and their adhesive tapes are 100% recyclable paper, so they can be recycled along with the packaging
