Fabienne Chapot aims for long-term relationships with factories they know, 20 different ones via 6 agents. They visit them frequently and work with a code of conduct (strict requirements to the supplier on the way to work) and a buying commitment (guarantee that Fabienne Chapot will not challenge the suppliers to an extent that they will be forced to use alternative production methods). To be able to audit their production locations they have joined the BSCI. These independent audits facilitate them to, when needed, take steps to improve the working conditions at these locations and meet official standards
