All Chaos and Colour garments are produced in India, and only partner with ethical organisations to produce their garments, for example NGO's such as the Saheli Women. They work in collaboration with these artisanal communities, working to preserve ancient cloth making techniques. For example, they work with handloom weavers, block printers etc.

Every single piece in Chaos and Colour's collections are created using traditional human wisdom, and time honoured techniques such as hand spinning yarn, hand-dyeing and Ikat weaving. They aim to to preserve these ancient cloth making techniques
Chaos and Colour is female-led and they work in collaboration with the all-female NGO Saheli Women, who produce their products. Purchasing from Chaos and Colour supports woman-owned small businesses and female artisans
Chaos and Colour has a total of two employees — one full time, one part-time
All Chaos and Colour pieces are made using 100% organic materials, so everything they make is biodegradable, diverting waste from the landfill
All Chaos and Colour packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials
Currently, Chaos and Colour only produces one main collection a year, Spring/Summer to reduce overproduction and follow a trendless agenda
