Fashion unleashes our creativity and self expression but knowing how to do that responsibly can often be tricky…even more so when locally made and shipped is part of your values! For some of us buying an item that coming from the other side of the world doesn’t really feel right in terms eco-friendliness.

So, we handpicked 10 European fashion brands Renoon-approved that produce and ship within the European borders.

1. Privato Vegan Shoes

This cruelty free and small brand designs eco-friendly vegan shoes that are made or even hand painted by Italian artisans with the use of vegan and non-toxic water dyes.

2. WRÅD

This Italian activist brand is definitely a cool project to know about! They are based in Vicenza, Italy and they started in 2015 as an educational platform. 3. Ksenia Schnaider

Ksenia Schnaider is a Kiev-based brand which gained worldwide recognition in 2016 with the invention of demi-denims. They have been worn by the coolest celebrities – read more on their upcycling process.

4. Jenah St.

This German and vegan handbag brand aims to bring products that are not only wanted but also needed. On top of that, they have a circular bag program! What is that you ask? 5. ID-Eight

This sneaker brand is a blend of style and sustainability, all made in Italy. Can you guess from what are their materials made? There is cotton and recycled polyester but also… apple peels, grape stalks and pineapple leaves! Crazy right?

6. Neeve

This brand is a golden mine for the ladies who like simple but special. The two founders and lifelong friends Heleen Spruijt and Nadine Bronwasser wanted to create a “wardrobe essential” brand, and they did an amazing job!

The brand is Dutch, producing in Portugal.

7. Kuyichi

“Kuyichi was named after the Peruvian God of the rainbow, who brings colour and positivity to society.” This beautiful name sets the tone for the brand’s mission: create a system that makes life fun and enjoyable for everyone in the chain. They work exclusively with organic and recycled materials, made in collaboration with cotton farmers, to bring to us the most respectful (and beautiful) denim pieces.

The brand is based in Amsterdam and produces in Portugal, Italy, Spain, Turkey. A few of their factories are in China and the brand is fully transparent by publishing the list of suppliers.

8. Herth

Herth comes from Her+Earth and was created by Antonietta for women all around! Timeless, elegant and versatile, she wanted her brand to be modern and respectful and to combine ethics with aesthetics. Spoiler alert: she succeeded!

The brand is made in Italy.

9. Masha with Maria

This adorable brand feels like a hug with all those garments  handmade from vintage wool blankets! Masha Maria, their founder, takes her inspiration from men’s wear to create unique pieces that upcycled in Amsterdam. We fell in love with all the vivid colours and originality of Masha with Maria, and we hope you will too!

10. The Minu

If you like activewear that is cute and responsible, TheMinu is for you! This Italian brand is a perfect mix of style and comfort, and they have yours (and the planet) best interests at heart.
